This section is dedicated to seminars that provide promotional preparation and assistance to the firefighter that is aspiring to promote within the fire service. From the entry-level position of firefighter, promotional opportunities exist to positions such as Engineer, Company Officer (Lieutenant or Captain), and Chief Officer (Battalion Chief, Division Chief, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, Fire Chief, etc.).

Some of the above classes may slightly overlap with each other, however each are meant to be delivered by themselves. All programs can be customized for any single audience and/or department, with sufficient time spent in advance to learn organizational issues involved. Programs can be reduced or lengthened to meet the needs of the audience and/or department. A detailed set of notes will be provided in advance for the host agency to reproduce. One of the keys to successfully selling yourself during a promotional process is having a resume that really highlights and accentuates your key points in a down and dirty fashion. Too many promotional candidates do not take adequate time to create a resume that will make them stand out from the crowd.
